Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Jobboard Finder’s opinion Summary: Founded in 2013, Cariera Noua is a Romanian job board with Mihail Cotarta still had the head of the business. If you look through some of our older articles, you'll find an interview with did with him. According to LinkedIn, he is currently based in Sydney, Australia. The site has an attractive layout but low visibility with only some 2 500 visits a day. Furthermore, the social media is also quite low: 100 followers on LinkedIn, 72 on YouTube, 44 on Twitter and 10 754 on Facebook. This isn't surprising when you consider that the job board hasn't undated its social media pages for a while now (since 2019). It's unfortunate that the site has not provided much information about its origin (the About Us section is just another presentation of the services). Design: For foreigners, it's nice to know the site is available in Romanian and English. On the homepage, you'll find a search engine (what and where) as well as different sections presenting the services offered by the site. There is a focus on helping international jobseekers and students. The job listing is very clear (with the offers in big boxes featuring key information) but there is no particular branding for the offers when you click on them. The filters include: remote options, city, job type, category, company, monthly salary. To apply to jobs, you don't necessarily need an account. The job board objective: If you're looking for a new career, then this is the place to be. Recruiter observations: Recruiters can post one offer for free and the rest of the pricing is online. However, to register, you need a VAT number and some other information (IBAN, the company name, etc.). Jobseeker observations: It's very easy to create an account. The job offers: There are currently over 9000 job offers online. Most jobs are in telecommunications, IT and health. Reactivity: -- Special features: The YouTube videos (all several years old); job wrapping; the different portal for students; the blog; the company page. Verdict: It's a tough one. On the one hand, the site is easy to use, has good language options, good filters and a solid number of job offers. On the other hand, the social media is no longer a part of the job board's business strategy and the visibility is low. If you can create an account and use the free posting, it'll give you an idea of how effective the site can be for your needs.
