Site's statement Together Abroad – “The online Multilingual Job Board in The Netherlands” Together Abroad is a multilingual Job Board and Career Portal providing jobs of all languages, job fields and locations around The Netherlands. The career services, such as CV checks, CV rewrites, Career Counselling and Job Interview training are aimed at helping individuals reach their career goals. We provide job search support services and training to skilled workers who would like to enter the job market or find new employment in The Netherlands. Jobboard Finder’s opinion Summary: In 2009, Linda van Orsouw founded Together Abroad, a job board, which helps foreigners find work overseas. Before this, she worked in talent acquisition, so Linda definitely knows how difficult it can be to find top talent. The site has found success across the world, attracting 63 000 visits a month, only 35% of which comes from the Netherlands. On social media, the outreach is also impressive: 27 096 followers on Facebook, 4 425 on Twitter, 2 939 on Instagram and 3 169 members on LinkedIn. Design: The colour scheme is red and grey. The search engine (keywords and areas of specialisation) is large and appears over a professional-looking backdrop image. Some job offers are featured in a grid, displaying logos and the job title. The rest of the homepage is full of links to other pages, be it job searches by categories or the blog or other services. Once in the job listing, you can refine the search thanks to filters (language, area of specialisation, education, salary, interested in our welcome abroad package). In the listing, the job offers only display the company name, job title and sometimes a logo. The job board objective: Together Abroad strives to connect forward-thinking companies with mobile candidates from all over the world. Recruiter observations: To advertise on the site, you must contact the team and provide information about what you are looking for. Jobseeker observations: It’s easy to create an account. You must include your CV and whether or not you have a visa for the Netherlands. Language, work experience, level, salary and hours are also required fields. The job offers: There are over 2 500 job offers online, most of which are in Sales, Engineering and Customer Support. Reactivity: The team answers very quickly. Special features: The number of views on articles; testimonials; blog (with many subcategories but no dates); workshops and other events; coaching packages; CV visibility options. Verdict: Together Abroad offers interesting filters and information for its users. It would be nice to have pricing information and events. The team is reactive, which is great for recruiters.
